The Prevent T2 Podcast is based on a proven program developed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) that helps individuals at high risk for type 2 diabetes make meaningful, lasting lifestyle changes. Hosted by certified health coach, Megan J. McCrory, the podcast takes you through the program step by step, offering practical tips, strategies, and support for reducing your risk of diabetes, while improving overall health and wellness.

Prevent T2 Participant Guidebook

  • This is your essential guide for the entire program (200 pages). It contains all the session handouts you’ll use in each episode. Make sure to download and keep it handy as you listen to the podcast episodes.

Weekly Fitness Log

  • Use this log to track your daily and weekly physical activity. Remember, the goal is to reach at least 150 minutes of moderate activity each week. Keep yourself accountable by logging your activity here.

Action Plan Journal

  • After each session, you’ll create an action plan to help you reach your personal goals. Download this journal and start filling it in as you listen to the episodes. Small, realistic changes lead to big results over time.

Weight Log

Q: How long is the Prevent T2 program?
